From the forests of Nantou to the cap on every bottle, moso bamboo is one of the few materials that gives more than it takes.
A fast forest
Moso bamboo is a grass, not a tree. It grows quickly, needs no replanting, and draws down carbon as it does. Harvesting a stand does not clear it; the root network simply sends up the next generation.
From forest to cap
Each cap is turned by hand at a lathe in Nantou by craftspeople who have worked the material for decades. It is a cap that began as a forest and, at the end of its life, returns quietly to soil.
